I started a new thread because, for whatever reason, every time I try to post a response on a particular thread, it just disappears into cyber-space never to be seen again (as far as I know). So maybe someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong and how to post correctly so my input is seen. Now, I used to live right down the street from the end of the runway to Middletown airport. They have one of the largest EAA LSA Ultralight fly-ins and campouts every year as far as I know. At least they used to. There were hundreds of planes there and lots of tents all over the place on the airport property. Of course my last experience with seeing this was well before 9/11 so who knows what they do now. But it was there and they seem like good people, especially at Sky Sport where Mike and Kurt have helped me get my STC to upgrade my gross on N415CB. Anyway, just wanted to throw this out since I knew how they hosted the other fly-ins and I have friends there and the local motels and food places are priced for living-wage folk like me.
