Thanks for the suggestions, however, due to my personal disability, I cannot 
perform the type of experiment you suggested.  I just thought it was a query 
with an answer that would be readily available given the number of owners on 
this blog and the amount of technical information given on various subjects 
having to do with Ercoupes.  My FBO is kind enough to move my Ercoupe for me to 
and from the hangar.  They are very careful with their handling of the "Old 
Girl" and I just wanted to add some more information to help them do the job 
correctly so I don't have to wait around to supervise.

I don't know the max turning radius 
to prevent damage to the fork.
What I'm going to do is:
• Have my son hold the tail down while I.....
• Move the yoke Left and Right.
• Put a chalk line on the hangar floor for each yoke full deflection.
• Then measure the angle, 
• O.K. I haven't worked out the next step, 
I have to think this out a bit further.
