Thnaks to all the folks who responded with advice, ideas and other support. Thanks too, to the folks at Skyport who were very helpful with a supply of parts as well as pictures and information on repairs and re- assembly. N3000G is airworthy once again following what turned out to be a very long annual. You sometimes lose sight how much fun flying one of these little birds is until you are grounded for a while when necessary to take care of the squawks that seem to come with age.
