Training in my coupe was given to me by (CFI) Glen Davis. "Land on the mains then get the nose wheel on the runway SOP." That would seem like an absolute must for a coupe drivers when landing. After touch down I never push on the yoke. I just relax my grip and the nose seems to come down on it's own. I usually apply slight forward pressure afterwards which helps nose wheel taxi steering.
