Earl:

 

Buy a large plastic oil can with a pump and a length of plastic tubing
that’ll fit the oil can and the bleeder screw. (3/16”?)

 

Fill the oil can with clean brake fluid and connect the hose to one of the
wheel bleeders. Open the bleeder and start pumping fluid in to the system.
Stop when the fluid just reaches the reservoir.  Refill the can and repeat
on the other wheel until the reservoir is ¾ full.  If at any time you see a
bubble of air in the plastic tube, stop.  If that side needs more fluid you
will probably have to drain it out and start over, so be sure the can is
full when you start.

 

Trying to fill the system from the top by pumping the pedal is a waste of
time.
