Gary. What helps is to direct the air into the cabin rather than have it just warm the lower firewall section.

I can barely tell mine is on, and in NW Wisconsin, I need to be warmer. I had a Cessna 172, and it would boil you out of there. I recently flew in a Cessna 150, same heat.
