As always, your posts are very intelligent and well thought out. You make some
good points. Regarding the wing tanks protruding into the cabin, that isn't
the same as having a fuel tank just ahead of me in a crash. The ones on the
wings are much less likely to rupture and cover the passengers with fuel.
Additionally, the wing tanks do not have an electrical source close to it as
does the fuselage tank. Of the 3 crashed coupes I have purchased, none had a
ruptured wing tank. Some of the tanks were dented, but not ruptured. I like
the idea of having a cell type bladder (like racing autos and some Military
aircraft) ahead of me instead of the current tank. Also like the 30 gal wing
tank options. Would be neat if someone with more money than me pursued the
bladder/cell fuselage tank.
