I have been a member of this forum for a couple of months now an find most of the posts quite interesting a few hammered to death but in all sincerity very interesting. My Wife Pat and I purchased an Ercoupe 415-CD N94682 Now N214RP from Glenn davis in Spruce Creek FL in October 2008 and I can tell you I have never seen an equal to it of course it like any 60+ year old aircraft or an Old Pilot like me needed some attention to a few minor things that we completed on the last annual. and I should have purchased one many years ago. I had built a 601XL and sold it when after an Accident in CA left two plots dead could not be explained away so I lost confidence in it and sold it. After that I purchased a Sky Ranger and loved its short field performance as I have a 1500' foot strip on my Ranch in Missouri but in the wind it was a kite not a plane, not good for cross country. The Ercoupe I purchased has now had several long cross country flights and both my wife and I find it very enjoyable. We plan to go to Ohio in June as all reservations are made and confirmed and are looking forward to meeting alot of birds of the same feather. Hope to see you there. N214RP stands for our anniversary Feb 14th RP = Rick and Pat My wife is starting her sport pilot training and wants to fly alot "Great" I have been fling since 1955 and have almost learned something now and then maybe I;ll keep doing this until I learn it all I should live so long.
