We have another pair of assembly-line siblings: new student pilot
Lt. Col. Ed Solbach recently brought his newly-restored 'Coupe to
live at TOA (Torrance, CA), where mine is, and his is N3436H. My
"Sky Sprite" is N3437H. Our serial numbers are also in sequence.
Since the tower already often stumbles over saying "Ercoupe
3437Hotel," they are going to have some tongue-twister practice!

BTW, this makes us a 3-active-Ercoupes airport: Frank Nelson's
'Coupe is also at TOA.

Welcome, Nicky! My name is Mike Wood (Woody), and I live in
Cincinnati. I am the proud owner of N94176. That should make your
Serial # 1498, because I'm 1499. That is very cool to know that
somebody has the previous Coupe off of the line! Again,
WELCOME!......Woody N94176

My name is Nicky King. I live in Mckinney Texas. I am retiring to
Oklahoma and I keep my ercoupe in a hanger in Durant Okla. I
purchased N94175 . The ad is still on barnstormers with pictures.
Many of you are probably familiar with the ad. I have sold my other
aircraft .I have flown since 1971 and dont plan on stopping. If I
later need an LSA , I think this will work. She does need work ,and I
will enjoy the work bringing her back to good shape. Jack , your
coupe is beautiful .I look forward to the day mine will be
presentable as well. I have already started compiling a folder of
knowledge from this forum. I appreciate the welcome and look forward
to corresponding with all of you. Nick
