James ,

Find some partners before giving it up.

I just got my Va drivers license renewed which means I am good in our Ercoupe
for another 7 years as I am now a Sport Pilot after flying since 1951. Heck, I
will be 82 when I have to renew the drivers license again. But I hope to still
be enjoying that Coupe. Took me many years to find this beauty and I am not
giving her up.

See you at the EOC Convention.

  James,

1.. Why not try to find a partner or two? Far better to have a Coupe when
you want it most of the time than have no Coupe at all.

2.. I like the pattern of the brown painted Coupe better but I'd prefer a
bright primary color, i.e. red, yellow, blue, etc. The white plane with
minimal red stripes does also look nice, but it doesn't grab me. If you're
sure you will have to sell it, leave it pure white for the buyer to customize.

3.. Being a chicken-hawk, I like the idea of the top of the plane having as
much white as possible while the bottom side has as much dark as possible to
enhance air-to-air visibility.

4.. There's no need to double post a question like this. We ask that you
just submit on-topic messages like this (and all replies) to -tech only.
Thanks.

  Good luck.

  Ed
