OK Dan, I think I have it now. You want only wing tip nav lights, no strobes? Our Combo heads are equipped with red/green along with white aft LED position lights and a strobe bulb. The strobe bulb needs the driver. The LEDs operate on just 12 volts DC. Now if you don't want the strobe, we also offer the heads without the strobe bulb. Part numbers are SL-HAC-WG (green) & SL-HAC-WR (red) $90 each. If you are interested give us a call 610 326 9068.

I have been unhappy with how little light my wingtip lights put out. Especially since there are a few airplanes out there bigger and faster than my Ercoupe (I know, hard to believe; but I live in the "air capital"). Didn't want the expense and weight of a strobe system so went with non-TSO'd LED wingtip lights that I have been real happy with. Total cost $200 and they plug right into wing tip wires (less weight and less electrical draw). Another plus is the increased visibility to the rear (rear tail light not much brighter than the old wing tip lights).
