I have a question for the group that has made the switch from generator to alternator. I have now spent more than I ever thought on my coupe, and I havent even painted it yet. However, as long as I am spending, I am thinking of going to the alternator and lightweight starter with the push button switch, rather than the pull handle for the starter. Now, if you have switched are you happy, and if you had it to do all over again would you? I think my generator/starter is OK, but...with my new battery I am already seeing the crank speed slow down.
