Man am I a dunce!!!! Just looked up the N number on FAA.gov and this does not
match
the plane. Maybe I better quit trying to do this lady a favor till I see some
paperwork.

Coupers interested in this plane. I was a bit mislead on the plane and I should
have
waited before putting any info out on the condition/model etc. Upon further
questions
asked I have discovered, through a discussion with the plane's mechanic, that
the engine was NOT recently overhauled and the plane is probably a D model.

I appologize for getting everyone's hopes up. Hopefully the owner's widow
will attend the fly-in on Saturday and bring the logs so I can ascertain a bit
more
info as to just what the plane is and what has been done to it.

In the mean time, the N number is, according to the lady, 2538H with a
serial no. of 3157.

I live a couple hundred miles from the plane, so, is not easy for me to go see
it.

Again I appologize if I jumped the gun on this.

A lady here in Nebr. whose husband recently passed away has his 415C
for sale. I don't know alot about the plane as she is not an airplane person.

It does have a newly overhauled C85 and a dual fork nosegear. If anyone is
interested, please email me with your questions and I will do my best to
find the answers. She has not listed the plane anywhere as of now.
