Hello, fellow 'Coupers. I flew to MWO on Saturday and spoke with Mike, the PR
guy for Middletown. He was offering advice on the Tattoo event scheduled Friday
night of the convention week. He said along with it being a "free airshow" and
"free fireworks", there is apparently a "free country-western concert" there as
well. They are expecting a crowd of over 100,000 people Friday night. Kevin has
tried to line up a bus for the event, but if any of us go the museum during the
day, to get back to Middletown and back to the Tattoo, may be a problem. To
stay there all day would probably turn into a 16-17 hour event. I myself, will
will not be going. I will be staying @ MWO to welcome any arriving 'Coupers and
to converse with those already there. It's looking like transportation to the
museum Friday morning would not be a problem. However, transportation to the
Tattoo would best be arranged among a group of people who want to get their own
way up there. If
there are any thoughts on this, please let me know. I just wanted the group to
know exactly what they're up against. Thanks!.........Woody
