I guess even with the fuel out of the tank it could be explosive with a spark. Good point. What kind of solvent would you flush it with. I like the power wash idea. If there was no leaking before , then why is it in there. My other problem is the 0 oil pressure on start after a long time. I understand what causes it now but you gents have given me too many solutions.My oil filter sits laterely , so I can not pre fill the filter. It does look like the fixture would have 2 passages, is this where I put in oil (picked up a new battery "bulb" today). I like the idea of using the oil sending hole. Where is it. Is it easy to get to, and is that all you do. Nick
