Hey Lou: If you have bronze bushings in your landing gear leg, they are not
original. Someone has put them in in place of the Bakelite bushing
originally used. I have replaced the bushings, but I do not remember an
"easiest" removal. I would use a long socket (I do not have special tools)
to drive it out as gently as possible. I have found that often the pin is
difficult to remove because of years of non-lubrication. I have used liquid
wrench and a larger socket to remove the pin. If it moves with difficulty,
moving it back and forth a little at a time (with lubrication) will often
loosen it up to the point where you can remove it without damage.
Skyport has new bushings for less than $10 for the Coupe (after
serial 812), so I would plan on replacing them anyway.

landing gear leg bronze bushing without taken the part to a machine shop.
