One member stated that it is approved for the 415, so that's a good sign.
You'll need to check for yourself just in case.

I've run those batteries in my Bonanza for a few years now. I like the
fact that I don't have to worry about the acid leaks and maintaining a box
too much. They don't like to sit, so I use a Battery Tender connected to the
current one to keep it healthy. If you don't fly at least once a week,
you'll need to do this. Also, DO NOT USE a cheapie battery or float charger.
  My Ercoupe background came up and I bought one from Harbor Freight for
about $7. Cooked the $150.00 battery so now I use a $40 Battery Tender.

After looking at the recent discussion about batteries and the Gill 25
coming out with the recommendation, I went to my Aircraft Spruce catalog to
see what that was going to cost since I will be needing a battery soon, I
hope.

The G-25 is $136.95 (with acid shipped). For $168.95 you can get the
sealed version, G-25S. I would prefer to use that one. What would be the
approval status on it?

My experience is that sealed batteries are fine as long as you don't ever
let them  discharge to  zero.

Chris
