Dick Walker spotted a story about an Ercoupe crash yesterday - NON-fatal and
injuries to the pilot were mild to moderate (depending on the article you
read).
We don't know who was flying the plane, yet. It was registered to Jack and
Atara Fleisher of Manhasset, NY. The male pilot had some injuries and local
resident or fire department help was needed to get him out of the aircraft.
He was taken to the hospital for treatment of the injuries.
The articles vary on how many people were in the plane. The majority of
articles only list one person, but a couple say the plane took off with two
aboard. At any rate, only one was injured.
The aircraft, N87295 serial number 468, was totaled.
