I tailored my coupe several times and what worked best for me was swapping the left and right lower MLG legs so the wheels were inboard of the gear rather than outboard. Doing this kept the tires on a road legal trailer that can be no more than 102" in my part of the country. If I recall correctly swapping the gear legs allowed me use a 96" wide trailer.... Sooo many years ago!. Ken
