I am going to recover my fabric wings. Today I removed the fabric from one wing and observed that the back of the wing, the trailing edge aileron bay, was not covered with fabric, but instead it had a strip of window screen glued across the lightening holes. Does anyone know if that is normal for an Ercoupe or should this section be fabric covered too?
