Coupsters I have a C model for sale. I have not listed it to the "outside world yet". Price is $26,500. You can see pictures of it at:
http://glendavis.smugmug.com/Airplanes/N2285H/9421012_XYWvv/1/631423929_4F5nW The interior is an 8 and the paint is a 6. The paint has some fading, especially on the accent stripe on the vertical stabilizer and a few chips here and there. Full disclosure: The airworthiness certificate shows it as a C model The Registration shows it as a C model The FAA records on-line show it as a C model The CD from the FAA with it's complete life history show it as a C model There is a entry in the log book from 1976 stating it was changed to a D model. I contacted the FAA to clarify what model it is. I was told that they do not consider the conversion to have happened until the 337 form has been received and filed in there system. I was told that as far as the FAA is concerned, this is still a C model. The log book entry does not constitute a conversion. FYI: Conversion from a C to a D requires: 1. Slight change in the travel of the elevator 2. Stainless steel sheet placed over the header tank for fire protection 3. Change in the orifice on the landing gear struts to allow more "cushion" on landing. This plane is located in Seattle, Washington If I don't sell it soon, I will fly it to Florida and market it from there.
