[ercoupe-tech] Oil loss

I have been told that by soldering an extension on the engine oil breather 
elbow I might cut down on the excess oil that my coupe uses. This extension 
would go inside the crankcase. My question is: how long should this extension 
be? One of the sources making this suggestion was the Continental engine people 
at Oshkosh so I assume the suggestion has validity. Unfortunately I forgot to 
ask them the suggested length, Thanks, Mike @ KDLL
