After going through our "pyramid file" of Ercoupe Upper Cap Strip drawings (i.e. the past revisions of the current drawing), I have been unable to find anything that duplicates those holes drilled along the front of your seat pan into your upper spar cap. Sorry for the delay - neither I nor my other engineer (35 plus years at Univair) have ever seen a capstrip drilled in such a fashion, therefore I wanted to check all possible sources.
