When I took the fairings off my mains I was shocked to find that the stops on the main landing gear oleo strut had been bent at 90 degrees from their original position. Any ideas on what would cause this to happen? Not much fluid in the struts. Would this cause the mains to drop too rapidly? Does anyone have two of the struts he/she would like to sell?
