What Kevin said. Have seen too many coupes with loose rod ends, u-joints & column bushings. Fail the AD miserably. But about 2 years ago we had a recent rebuild in the shop with the same complaint. The steering was tight, but the thing sashayed down the taxiway. Takeoff roll was fine. As I recall we mitigated most of it by replacing a few bushings and adding some shims to tighten up the main landing gear.
