Unhappy ending for my flying - see http://www.aigaviation.com/aviationsalvage/salvagedetail.aspx?faano=N6363V
The insurance company bought the plane for its agreed value minus $100 deductible. It was going to cost more to fix than it would be worth so .... The landing wiped out my steering so I ended up in the grass after hitting a runway taxi exit light with my right wing. Engine was running fine and I made a normal shut down and exited the plane. The salvage notice doesn't include the Val INS422 localizer/glideslope/markers although I told them about the unit for their avionics info. I'd be happy to answer questions about details and or help with salvage purchase/loading etc. The plane is tied down at CGF, about 2 mile from my home. I hope someone can make good use of major parts of the '65 ALON A2 Charlie 216-486-6806
