I talked to Charles Reno tonite about the damage done when his 1965 Alon dropped in from est 15ft and then went off the ruway and collided with a runway lite. Insurance company has it up for ending in November see Mr. Reno's prior message. I may go see it tomorrow, but since scheduled for ten days of S.D. pheasnt hunting may not. It potentially could be a project but has possible damage to Center section , right wing ,fire wall etc. I have a good 64-65 Alon center section on main wheels with tailcone removed and damage to lower firewall from collapse of gear. It is registered in my name. As I understand from him, his lower fire wall is not damaged. Between his parts and my parts there is a project. Charles Hampton IA Marietta Ohio
Ps I just two weeks ago sold 65 Alon project to an IA from Iowa who picked it up and was very happy to get it. My wife is so happy!Just finished up a 415 D project by covering wings. Will sell soon. Pictures available. Chuck
