Do things in steps for economic reasons. All below info should be done according to Ercoupe maintenance manual instructions. 1. Make sure the nosewheel tire is at the correct PSI. (17PSI ) 2. Make sure the tire has no high spots on it (worn tire with lumps, etc., 3. Make sure the tire is balanced 4. O.K. if any of the above is in error THENĀ $$$$$$$$ Change tire. Don't forget to tighten the scissors (nut cracker) boltsĀ for no slop in it. If all the above fails now come the $$$$$$$$$$ Then check the wheel barings (see if they are worn) If so replace them. Good luck Try all this first (Oh yes is tail the correct height (75") which has nothing to do with shimmy) Prof. Ed
