Yesterday I prepared to install the inspection holes / plates as per
Service Bulletin 31/Beads.
I have a "G" model with three (3) rows of beads,
After carefully measuring (three times +) and making slight adjustment for
positioning of the holes
I found that I can only install 3 inspection holes on each side due to the
(three) beaded skins.
That's O.K.with me I will still be able to visually inspect wing center
section
for evidence of corrosion and / or damage with 3 on each side.
Of course the installation would not be followed to the letter.
The SB calls for 4 on each side. Has anyone had this problem.
In jest @ Princeton University (1932), Albert Einstein said,
"If you have a problem that cannot be resolved by you alone,
you have no more problem, you now have a situation for others to get
involved.
Happy Thanksgiving,
