Hello, I am new here, and looking for great info! I am in the final stages of restoring N5625F. 1966 Alon A2 SN# 225. Does anyone have any details on the spring gear coupes? I want to restore mine to orginal as possible. So, I wondering on what color the spring gears were painted at the factory? White? Black? Mine was painted black when I got it, but the plane had been stripped of all its orginal paint many years ago, so I have no clue. Any info would be awesome! Thanks Eddie Wilson
