I have been asked to help a family settle an estate and sell a 415D that was owned by their late father. You can view pictures at:
http://glendavis.smugmug.com/Airplanes/N3618H/10583518_hNvji/1/735454614_ebwjq I believe this Ercoupe is going to sell really quickly as it is an exceptionally good deal. If you want it, I suggest you contact me immediately. The aircraft is a 415D, registration number N3618H. The serial number is 4243. It was converted to a D model so it is not LSA compliant. TT is around 2300 hours. The engine is a Continental C-90 with only 160 SMOH which was done recently. It has a King KY97 digital com (currently sells used for $800), transponder, encoder, ELT and a Cessna 300 Navcom. Metal wings, rudder pedals, wheel fairings and flashing beacon. Center section was completely exposed, inspected and zinc chromate a few years ago but SB32 needs to be complied with at annual. It is currently out of annual. The Swiss Cheese inspections holes have not been installed. The annual inspection was started in 2006. The mechanic completed the power plant part of the inspection and entered it as completed in the logs. The airframe part of the inspection was not completed as the owner became ill at that time. The Airframe logbook state "owner ill, inspection not completed". All logs complete from 1946. Paint is a 5. Interior is old and ugly. Some of the interior has been removed as the owner was working on replacing it just before he died but it is all available. It has the extended baggage compartment. Windshield is good. Other windows are poor but brand new windows and welting come with the airplane. Additional items that are included with the sale are: Garmin 196 GPS, two headsets, Bruce's Custom cover, aluminum chocks, Narco Nav 11 radio and a portable intercom. The plane has been hangared for several years in Riverside CA which is its current location. If it were mine, I would remove the Cessna radio and reposition the com and transponder to below the panel so they will be flush mounted, then cover the holes with an aluminum panel. The price is 12,500 firm. Terms: the first $2500 deposit will hold this Ercoupe. You then have 7 days to inspect the aircraft and logs. If you choose not to buy the plane after your inspection, I will refund your full deposit. If you want to complete the transaction, you must be prepared to pay the balance immediately following your inspection. You will be required to move the plane immediately after the sale or make arrangements with the hangar owner to continue the rental at $250/mo. Tiedown is also available for much less. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me by email or phone. The family wants all communication to go through me. Thanks Glen Davis 917 297-1111 [email protected]
