[ercoupe-tech] Engine Monitoring Methods

My new coupe has less than my ideal of engine monitoring instruments, I am 
thinking one of the new fangled Engine Information Systems (EIS) like from 
Grand Rapids would be far better, AND less weight.  Has anyone put one of these 
in a coupe?  How well does it work?
