[ercoupe-tech] Alon Flight Minus Canopy

We hit 18F here in MS this a.m. and scheduled to go to 9F Thur., so this may 
seem like a ridiculous question.  Two of us here envy the Ercoupers flying with 
their canopy open.  We don't trust the open canopy to fly in formation with the 
rest of an Alon.  We would like to know if anyone has flown with the Alon 
canopy removed.  We are considering local warm weather (if we can just get a 
little more global warming)flights.  Both aircraft are hangared. Thanks Don
