All,

Please desist from further discussions about intelligence, intent, goodwill,
etc.

Though I’d like to say things in defense of some people involved in this
discussion, a rule of calming things down is, once and end (pizza) is called,
we stop making defenses or explanations.  That lets things calm down.

If you want, go back and re-read previous comments.  I’ve seen some responses
that don’t correctly address the message on which they are commenting.

But, let’s drop talking about personalities and who said what.  This is not a
restriction on talking about Kim’s problem and any help people might like to
give.

LURKERS – you are ESPECIALLY welcome here.  This is a MUTUAL AID SOCIETY, here
to share information and help each other.  My observation is that, eventually,
80% or more of the people will find something to contribute that is very useful
to someone else.  But, even if you lurk forever and never come up with a gem of
wisdom that hasn’t already been provided by someone else, that’s OK, too.  A
bunch of us get satisfaction from helping you keep the Coupe fleet flying and
as safe as possible.

In the mean time, those who want and can afford it, please feel free to help
Kim.  He’s been a pretty great guy in all my contacts with him and he’s an
inspiration to me and the whole wide world.  I hope he can keep flying to help
inspire others to fly.  Fly, Kim, Fly!

P.S. for new members:  Pizza is a call for an end of the discussion, normally
called because hostility is coming out and flames are fanning.  The discussion
has slipped off the subject into personalities.  It’s a pizza call because,
when we call out for pizza and take time to have dinner, by the time we come
back, everyone has calmed down and we can just work on the original problem
without animosity.
