I got hit with I think the same virus last week, but it was called something else maybe. Anyway, it did the same thing, kept popping up messages about every website being unsafe, and the only way I could get out of it was to actually purchase their software. DON"T DO THAT!! They sent me something like a software key, but that did nothing. I finally had to buy the software on the cleanup website, I think PC Doctor, and that sort of removed it. It came back again, I ran the PC Doctor, removed it again and have had no other problems - BUT - two days later I started getting a message that my copy of Windows XP was not valid, and to fix THAT I had to buy a new license from Microsoft for $149 - even though this PC has been running XP since I got it, and was fine the day before. And now I am having to challenge the spamware software purchase with my credit card, although since I actually DID authorize the purchase that may not work. BE CAREFUL WITH THIS VIRUS, DO NOT PURCHASE IT!! BTW, I am running AVG Security and Windows firewall, and neither caught it.
