Has anyone ordered the Univair Bottom Cowling P/N 415-40040? Mine is pretty beat up, cracked, and patched up. Vince and I were going to try to fabricate it, but we would need to find someone with and English Wheel and then figure out how to roll the metal. I'm thinking it may be better to spend the $570 for a pre-formed lower cowling from Univair.
The problem I'm having is that every picture I've seen shows the exhaust port on the left side of the cowl. My coupe (and every other single-exhaust coupe) has the exhaust on the right side. Is the part right and the picture just printed in reverse? I'd like to know what to expect before I order, so if anyone has purchased and installed the Univair bottom cowling, I'd appreciate your feedback. Thanks, Dave
