I got a nice letter from Linda (LA Sprite) about Loctite and it
motivated me to share with the list the message I sent to her:
Blue Loctite = disassembly is possible, but it is stuck together
pretty well
Red Loctite = difficult disassembly, but still possible, stuck
together very well
Yellow Loctite = extremely difficult disassembly, and with those
parts, possible destruction, stuck together virtually permanently
She sent me a note thanking me for the opinion, so I re-expressed it as:
Blue - ought to do it, not bad if you want to do something else
Red - WILL do it, with serious argument if you want to do something
else
Yellow - Damn near permanent
I am a little bit intimated by the wisdom of the contributors to the
list and so often reply with my own opinions "off list" as I did with
Sprite - I assumed there would be a flock of duplications, so I sent
her my 2ยข worth directly. I don't want to present potential
confrontations. (despite Ed's objection to my comment on scientology
in Haiti).
