I am new to the group, so if this has been covered, don't flog me. Last week I
went to a local EAA Group meeting here in Greenville, SC KGMU. Dan Miller, a
rep for Aveo USA demonstrated the new LED lights for us. One of the advantages
of the LED system is you can remove all the extra stuff that goes with your
strobes (a few pounds) and run all your lights on very little power. Dan can be

plan to switch out all of my lights at some point. He had a Cessna 150 there
that he flies for show and tell and you could not look directly into the lights
they were so bright. All that on very little voltage and less weight. This
could help some of our Coupe members with the low voltage problem and at the
same time make them much more easily seen.
