Hi guys:

We believe we have my engine mount issue sorted out, thanks to those who
responded off-line, and especially Mike @ Skport for crawling around and
measuring every mount they had in the house...twice! The engine is hanging.

Next issue: Why is the Ercoupe oil tank filler neck on the left side? Is it to
just be able to have more room around the exhaust stack? Is there any legal
reason why it can't be on the right side? I'm pretty sure my other Ercoupe
(C-90) had it on the right side, and other than having to open both sides to be
able to check the gascolator, it worked. Did any other aircraft of the era use
the left-side filler neck?

I'm told there are no 'new' tanks with left-side filler necks available. Any
suggestions?
