I use a different technique in that after touchdown, I try to keep as much pressure off the nose wheel as I can. I continue to hold the yoke in the full aft position on landing roll out and trim full nose DOWN. There is still enough pressure on the nose wheel for good steering authority and I don't get a shimmy. I am also going to have the nose wheel and tire balanced at the next annual. Bart
