Aviation, old pilot and war veteran related - not about Coupes. Just

Jack Stanton sent this link and recommendation to me. It's for a 30 minute
film about a P-51 and the 88 year old pilot who flew it in WW2.

I put off watching it because, after all, it's 30 minutes and I'm busy.

This morning, I had a few free minutes and clicked on the link. I'm very
glad I did.

Why is it, as I get older, that my eyes leak so much more than they did when
I was in my 20s and 30s?

This is absolutely the best film I have every seen. I found it to be very
emotional.

It's a movie about 30 minutes long, about a P-51 Mustang pilot, 88 years
old, whose neighbor bought his old Mustang from the bone yard and restored
it. The neighbor is a film producer, he created this movie.

The film work is outstanding, the color and quality amazing.

The old guy didn't say much to his family about his fighter pilot days but
now his grandchildren get to actually fly in grandpa's old Mustang and smell
the smells, hear the roar, and feel the G's as grandpa did 60 years ago.
Very emotional!

At the end, the old guy actually fly's a dual control Mustang and while
flying it, his neighbor pulls up next to him in the old guy's Mustang and
has his grandson seated behind him, the grandson gets to see his grandpa
flying a Mustang and the old guy gets to see his grandson in his old plane.
WOW!

This is well worth the time and I know you will send this to your friends to
enjoy too.
