I did the conversion when I overhauled the C-90. I left out the pilot shaft.
Wiring is nuthing.
I really like it.
I also did the PlanePower alternator conversion as the same time. The alternator
requires some wiring. I upgraded my 30 amp Gen breaker to a 50 amp. Added
another breaker for the field. I did step up the size of the wire feeding the
bus bar.
The Alt. failure light is nice, It stays lighted after shut down.A great
reminder the Master is On.

Ed.

Have a look at the way the starter is put in. Your mechanic needs to hacksaw a
peice of the engine.
with the piece missing , it is only Skytech starters in the future.

I have no problems pulling that lever. Engine starts happens only ones a
flight. So no hacksaw in my engine.

Hi Eddie,
I too am considering puting in the push button Sky-Tec starter.
Was it a tough installation.
How many hours did it take to fully install.
Thank you,
Prof. Ed
