This has been said before here, but it doesn't hurt to say again.
This year I cut the wing center section inspection holes instead of
removing the wings to inspect for corrosion. I found intergranular
corrosion on a small brace on both sides, in between two ribs that are
impossible to inspect without the holes.  No corrosion anywhere else!
So if you haven't cut those holes you might want to do so, removing
the wings does not give you a look everywhere.
