Weston, and all, I am sad to hear of your condition. I know everyone has their cancer stories, but I feel the need to chime in on this. I just read the article in AOPA Pilot about colon cancer and how to stay ahead of it with checkups, colonoscopies, etc., and it got me thinking about my bladder cancer and all the changes that put me through about 4+ years ago. I will cut to the chase. Check out http://www.apjohncancerinstitute.org/site_map.htm This guy figured out what cancer cells like and what they can not stand, and puts together a mix of amino acids that promotes good normal cell growth and health but does not support cancer cells. That, along with specific diet requirements, can stop a tumor and even make it recede. The controlled amino acid therapy (CAAT) can be done in conjunction with other treatments such as radiation and chemotherapy. It costs about $900 per month for the amino acid powder, so it isn't free, and most insurance won't cover it, so that is a consideration. Don't give up fighting. Hope this helps someone.
