We turn the fuel off after every flight. Keeps the valve working as well as
insuring added safety. Never had any leaks. It is listed on our checklist. The
only problem I have is when I start to preflight and forget to turn on the
valve. Hard to get any fuel out of the carb with it turned off. Means I have to
climb back into the plane again. But it is good exercise, I guess.

Well in all fairness, the fuel valve was ON for the last few weeks. It had
stuck inthe on position, and was not leaking, so I just left it on.

a little placard to identify it's position. Should I be shutting this off after
every flight?
