You can buy the leads separately. Once you get them, if they are the ring type ones, be sure to make the lead ends terminate in the same location. This is the transition from lead to cable. It is a connection. Mine are all in a small plastic box attached to the engine mount with a vent tube from the firewall blowing into it and holes in the bottom. Apparently it is important to keep all the ends at the same temperature. Then put two rings under the top spark plug and the other two under the bottom plug of the same cylinder and run the engine to get the rings all at the same cylinder temperature. most likely the readings will be different. If one or two are way off, send them back and ask for replacement Westach will make you pay the freight but I had to keep doing it until I found four that were within the same approximate range ( +/- 10 deg F ) Next time I do it I will buy eight leads right from the start and return four that are furthest off range.
