The 1950 Ercoupe 415-G Clubair is similar to the model 415E except for installation of a "Kiddee Seat", increased baggage capacity, double curvature windshield, revised nose cowling support, revised engine baffles, revised seat back structure and other minor changes. Maybe that was what the mechanic was referring to, a ClubAir model? Even if you could physically install the ClubAir seat, I would think it would put a 415-C too close to gross weight to actually carry even a small person in the "Kiddee Seat". So you would end up with the extra weight of the seat but no one could actually occupy it. Correct me if I am wrong.
