Hi Eliacim,

In general, this is a process of elimination for most. Which "Parts
Catalog" do you have?

You probably DON'T have the early ERCO one which shows a double-fork
nose fork with a 4" nose wheel. It will not show what you have.

If you have the later ERCO one (I don't have one easily available for
reference, but this is the one sold by Wag-Aero and others), it WON'T
have ANY double-fork with a five inch wheel/tire because the 415-E and
G (with the larger nose wheel/tire) used a single fork similar in
design to the (common) single-fork wheel support with 4" wheel & tire
"standard" on all 415-C, D and CD models. It will not show what you
have.

If you have a Univair Reprint Parts Catalog, you can go to p. 21 (as I
stated before) to rule out the Univair design. That pretty much leaves
only the Forney double fork (widely sold and installed as a retrofit in
the 415 fleet) although I have seen at least one Ercoupe with a Cessna
double fork (don;t ask as to legality).

If you have a Univair Catalog, an exploded view is shown (in my
example, Cat. 205) as item #39 for SK-17 on page 27. It is also the
only arrangement shown in the Forney, Alon or M10 Parts Manual or
Service Manual.

Regards,

WRB
