Brian,
I must admit confusion as to the logic of how one not an A&P "must be a
lawyer". While I believe my words on and off this list recently were
helpful in thwarting a potential AD from the 12/08 Florida midair
breakup, your words are clearly not meant as a compliment. What WAS
your "point"?
Most of my professional efforts (when I worked for others) were in
engineering design and construction. Engineering calculations and
drawings of commercial and industrial buildings and related mechanical
systems are subject to a bureaucratic system of review and approval not
unlike that of the FAA.
Four of those years (before I became a pilot) were predominantly
technical/paralegal support of a general contractor's suit against a
municipality. Out of a million dollar claim we recovered $860,000.
I'm rather proud of that, too.
I bought my first Ercoupe in 1982. The legitimate opinions I share
here in good faith based on many years of study, research and
experience with the Ercoupe design are not the speculations of a
mechanic wannabe.
You first pop up here in 2010. What are your credentials and personal
priorities, other than "stirring the pot"?
Regards,
William R. Bayne
