I haven't been able to view attachments in the "winmail.dat" either. --Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of willswar Sent: Monday, June 21, 2010 12:05 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [ercoupe-tech] Re: photo test with inline photo
That photo arrived in the email "digest" as "winmail.dat" and not viewable (by me) - possibly because of your email configuration, but more likely because of the archaic system used by Yahoo Groups. They (Yahoo) likely are not updating to a more modern configuration because they may disband this service in the near future. They recently (and sadly) pulled the plug on a "paid" service for thousands of web marketers that was not meeting profit goals. Many people, especially Mac users, cannot open winmail.dat documents. --- In [email protected] <mailto:ercoupe-tech%40yahoogroups.com> , "Ed Burkhead" <e...@...> wrote: > > > Here's a photo inline within an HTML e-mail.
